Amr Mahmoud, Executive Partner at Sync First, is a seasoned professional with over 22 years of diverse experience spanning accounting, auditing, risk advisory, corporate governance, and management consulting. His expertise lies in driving operational excellence, implementing robust governance frameworks, and ensuring regulatory compliance to foster sustainable organizational growth. Amr has successfully led transformative projects, including IFRS adoption and VAT implementation, for both CMA-listed companies and SMEs in Saudi Arabia. With a focus on enhancing corporate governance and mitigating risks, he has played a pivotal role in developing and evaluating policies across key business functions such as HR, finance, procurement, and internal audit. His industry knowledge extends across sectors such as contracting, manufacturing, trading, and government agencies. Committed to innovation and client-centric solutions, Amr’s leadership integrates strategic insights with actionable plans, empowering organizations to thrive in evolving market conditions while achieving long-term success.
In addition to being a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors (ESAA). Amr holds a bachelor degree in Commerce from Banha University, Egypt. His visionary leadership, commitment to precision, and innovation have enabled businesses to effectively navigate the market, ensuring resilience and long-term success.

Mohamed Shawky is the Executive Partner at Sync First, with over 24 years of professional experience in accounting, external and internal auditing, risk consulting, corporate governance, policies and procedures, and financial and organizational restructuring. Throughout his career, Mohamed has played a pivotal role in delivering high-impact solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the sustainable growth of businesses.
His core expertise includes establishing internal audit functions, designing risk management systems, and developing corporate governance frameworks in line with international and regional standards. Mohamed has successfully managed strategic projects such as the full adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for both large and small-to-medium-sized enterprises, along with the initial implementation of VAT, across a diverse range of sectors including government, private, and non-profit organizations. He has also conducted reviews of companies listed with the Capital Market Authority, as well as private companies, insurance firms, and financial institutions regulated by the Saudi Central Bank. Additionally, he has prepared professional reports in fraud cases, analyzing evidence and providing findings.
In addition to being a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors (ESAA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Mohamed is a member of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), a Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA), a Certified Shariah Advisor, and an Auditor. Mohamed holds a postgraduate degree in financial accounting and dual bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Law from Ain Shams University, Egypt, reflecting his multifaceted approach to addressing complex challenges. His visionary leadership, commitment to precision, and innovation have enabled businesses to effectively navigate the market, ensuring resilience and long-term success.
